The global sustainable development agenda has reached a pivotal stage. As the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development enters its final five-year sprint, climate change and resource constraints are becoming central concerns worldwide. Amid this green transition, ESG has emerged not only as a key criterion in international capital markets but also as a critical element for building corporate long-term competitiveness
China's latest Nationally Determined Contributions have charted a clear course for corporate decarbonization. Simultaneously, growing attention from investors and consumers is driving businesses to deeply integrate ESG into their strategy and operations, aligning commercial success with social value.
Yet businesses still face multiple challenges in ESG implementation. High-level international platforms are needed to pool strengths across sectors, helping businesses translate ESG commitments into tangible brand value and enhanced sustainability capabilities. To this end, China Sustainability Tribune will co-host the ESG and Sustainability Leadership Themed Event at the 8th China International Import Expo(CIIE) under the theme of "Driving New Growth, Building a Shared Future", creating a platform for exchange and collaboration.
The event will convene policymakers, international organization representatives, leading academics and business leaders to explore cutting-edge ESG topics. Participants will gain:
